  1. Just browsing through "The Times of India" and I came across this little gem. (1)

Pakistan, holding nearly half of India's land borders, has posed a fairly sincere threat to their neighbours in India.

The Pakistans have test launched a new nuclear missile which has a 700 km range, and is equipped with many features which are new to nuclear missiles. Cruise control, live-action monitoring and a developed awareness software which learns every detail about the surroundings of the missile and relays that information to people on the ground.

The president and the prime minister of Pakistan, yet the Indians aren't taking so kindly to the news. This new Babur Missile could strike deep within India, even if launched from within Pakistan.

What are your thoughts on Nuclear Warfare/weaponry?

It appears the preparations are well underway, but that's not for me to say. Take a look at this map (2) which shows all the states holding nukes, according to Wikipedia.

  2. This will be my weekly post.

It seems like all the major stories in the world are about war/war preparation.

Looking through CNN's International News and I found an article about some war-like activity between North and South Korea. (1) (It even mentions Gangnam Style!)

It does appear that the tension is growing in countries around the world, especially here in the Koreas. I found that they have been technically at war since the 1950s, following the aptly named Korean war. (2)

Some fishing vessels form North Korea passed the nautical border between the two countries, and the South Korean army responded quickly with a navy alert, and a few dozen warning shots.

Here on an Irish news site I found that the North Koreans responded with a vow to "wage a great war" (3) if any more shots are fired toward their country/water space.

To add even more tension, the South Koreans are a key ally of the United States, and there are tens of thousands of American troops in South Korea.

Could this come to war? Could their tension lead to the first strike in the ever-feared World War 3?
